Questions from transport offices
Is this compliant with data protection regulations?
Yes. Consent is collected at sign-up for parents and guardians, and any school can export or delete a family's data on request, directly from the dashboard.
What happens if a guardian forgets their pickup badge?
Nothing stops the child leaving. A driver can skip the guardian scan with a reason, and it's logged for the school to review — the badge confirms, it never gates.
Can one parent account track children on different buses?
Yes. A parent can switch between children linked to their number, even if each one rides a different bus with a different driver.
What if our regular driver is unwell?
A school assigns a substitute driver for that one day. The route, passenger list and parent notifications carry over with no manual re-entry.
How do van owners get paid?
Through scheduled settlements from the school, payable by mobile money or bank transfer, with a running balance and payout history.
